Ilit Azoulay Biography
Israeli artist Ilit Azoulay spent a decade in her studio before her MFA at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Tel Aviv in 2010 led to solo exhibitions in New York, Paris, Berlin and Tel Aviv, where she was born and still lives. Born in 1972, Ilit is best known for panoramic photo montages, depicting arrangements of different objects and materials that are no longer connected to their original sources. In this way, Azoulay frees the viewer from the need to know what and where the items are.
